The latest news on PEUGEOT is that they are now exhibiting the Peugeot HYbrid three concept at the sixty seventh International Cycle Show being held at Milan. The three wheeler Peugeot they have exhibited is the HYbrid 3 Compressor roofless Peugeot variant that was on display at the 2008 Motor Show in Paris.
This Peugeot Hybrid 3 derives its power from the two electric motors snugly fitted at the front wheels and from the aspirated engine provided at the rear. The 300cc Peugeot engine delivers a horse power of forty one and the twin motors generate another six kilo watts from the lithium batteries. Peugeot is confident that this model will be extremely fuel efficient and will only consume about two litres for every hundred kilometres. Moreover, Peugeot prides itself on the fact that this model will also have CO2 emissions of only 48g per kilometer.
This Peugeot model has been designed in such a way that its front suspension comprises of wheels that can incline and moreover the suspension itself rests on the wheel hub. The centre of gravity for this Peugeot vehicle is quite low as compared to other similar models and due to its width of eighty two centimetres, you will be able to accommodate one person at the back.
