Peugeot iOn

Oct 4 2009

PEUGEOT unveiled its electric car, the Peugeot iOn, at the Frankfurt Motor Show - and if you see a resemblance with the MITSUBISHI iMiEV, you are not mistaken. It is the Mitsubishi iMiEV sporting the lion badge of Peugeot. Peugeot plans to launch the Peugeot iOn in late 2010. This will give enough time to potential buyers to evaluate research and decide if they want to go green in this electric car. It promises to be a good runabout for daily errands and will go eighty miles before requiring a recharge. The Peugeot iOn will take six hours to recharge on a home 220 volt outlet. Peugeot has not announced the price, but that is expected soon. This will give enough time for buyers to use car loan calculators to find the best deals. With instant 64hp available and zero emissions the car will be cheap to run and maintain. It should not be overtly priced and once the price is announced, buyers can start clicking on car loan calculators as they will know how much loan they need to arrange. Peugeot expects the car to be a success especially with small families who are budget conscious. It should be a nice, silent car that will get the daily chores done without any fuss.
