Care loan news: Renault unveils new eco-friendly concept car
Sep 11 2008French automaker RENAULT has announced that it is to showcase a new environmentally-friendly concept car at this year's Paris Motor Show, car loan customers may be interested to know.
The Ondelios, which may inspire those with Car Finance to consider purchasing a more eco-friendly car, is designed to offer "high aerodynamic efficiency".
Patrick Le Quement, design director at Renault, said: "Ondelios is a glimpse of what the automobile might be in the medium-term future."
It has an aluminium grille and headlights that evoke "flowing motion", the manufacturer stated, adding that the car also boasts a glazed roof and a "steeply-raked" windscreen.
"We think of it as made from a single material, where the body and glazed areas merge into one," Mr Le Quement remarked.
Environmentally-conscious car loan customers may also be attracted to the cars hybrid technology, which includes a 205hp 2.0 dCi engine and two 20kW electric motors.
Renault is also using the Paris Motor Show as a springboard for the launch of the latest version of its popular Megane range of cars.
The new Megane "family" is to include six new models by 2010, the firm said.
