The 3.0L turbo diesel engine does a wonderful job and there seems little reason for buying the 3.0L petrol version. The diesel is more economical and environment friendly. One feature that the GT gets is four wheel steering. At speeds lower than 37mph the rear wheels turn the other way which is definitely useful as it makes the car more maneuverable. But at higher speeds the rear wheels turn the same way as the front wheels. Now this can be disconcerting, as you may find yourself over steering or under steering and you will need to get used to steering this car.

The Renault Laguna Coupe GT comes with some extras, like leather upholstery, automatic transmission, folding door mirrors, cruise control and no spare tyre! You get a tyre inflation kit instead. How that will help on a tyre beyond repair is unthinkable. The Renault Laguna Coupe GT comes with a hefty price tag and it would make more sense to search for a used one.
