Drivers looking to take out Car Credit for a new super MINI may find themselves impressed by the credentials of the RENAULT Clio.
The latest model, launched in 2005, is described by reviewer What Car? as being comfortable and spacious.
However, the base engine - the 1.2-litre petrol - can struggle, the reviewer adds.
The diesel options are more flexible, offering a smooth performance, while the car contains noise from the road and wind better than its rivals.
Exact steering and a composed ride are among the car's strongest assets, with safety also well being catered for, with between four and eight airbags per model and a five-star rating from Euro NCAP.
Models are also fitted with deadlocks and anti-lock brakes, as well as kit including a CD player, electric front windows and alloy wheels.
At a cost of £7,495 upwards, the car is unlikely to break the bank and is available in car insurance groups one to ten.
