Vehicle maker RENAULT has announced its plans to become world-leaders in terms of CO2 output, which may be good news for eco-conscious Car Finance customers.
The car maker has said that it is currently working on various technologies that will enable the brand and its customers to become greener, including the development of electric motors and turbocharged combustion.
Renault has said that it has seen carbon emissions reduce by 25 per cent in the lat 14 years, but continues to strive to create yet cleaner vehicles.
Those planning to invest in one of the brand's models may be interested to know that a range of all-electric powertrains could come into the market by as early as 2011, following the firm's work alongside Nissan.
However, those planning to use their car finance agreement to purchase a model in the near future could opt for the new Clio, which is being launched in May with a range of eco-friendly engines.
