SEAT has unveiled the name of a new estate car which could appeal to Car Finance customers looking for a family vehicle.
The company said the model is to be called the Exeo and will rival the FORD Mondeo and VAUXHALL Vectra.
However car loan customers have a little longer to wait before they can buy the car, with Seat also saying it would not be on sale until 2009.
Seat said: "Faithful to SEAT's Mediterranean roots, the new designation stems from the Latin word exire, which means 'to go beyond' or 'to go further'."
The company added the new name was "symbolic" as it marked the beginning of a new era for the Spanish car maker.
Autocar reports the new car will be based on the previous generation of the AUDI A4 and feature engines developed recently by Volkswagen.
