SEAT’s all-electric sports coupe

Nov 18 2010
The Paris Motor Show saw an updated all-electric sports coupe rolled out by SEAT. The car maker had premiered the concept in Geneva last fall and thought it fit to give it some finishing touches since then.

This coupe is only about 3.83 meters in length and therefore shorter by 20cm as compared to the Ibiza. It is however wider at 1.77m and standing tall at 1.23m, conforms to coupe specifications when it comes to height.

The company has placed the electric motor at the front while placing the lithium-ion battery at the rear, thus balancing the load well.

The motor can produce an output of 102hp and speed to 100km/hr in 9.7 seconds. This is possible due to the weight being kept down to just 1100kgs.

The top speed this vehicle can attain is 160km/hr and the battery capacity will last a distance of 130kms. It is however the wireless application through which the driver can establish contact with the computer in the car and monitor fuel as well as battery levels that is the highlight of this vehicle.
LED headlights and a very pronounced V-shape give the vehicle a lean and mean look. SEAT will be hoping that consumers will buy this one through relevant car loans and car credit finance schemes.
