SEAT has seen the demand for its used cars increase over the past month, figures from the trade publication, the CAP Black Book, reveal.
According to the car manufacturer, some of its most popular cars experienced a considerable rise in their used values during March, with some models seeing a 14 per cent rise in value compared to their February price.
"Demand for used new-shape Seat Ibizas is massive right now," said the company's UK used car manager, David Ardern.
He continued: "Even at our first closed auction for these vehicles back in February we saw dealers bidding strongly, paying as much as 115 per cent of the CAP valuation at that time in order to get hold of a car."
Recent figures published by the British Car Auctions (BCA) organisation revealed that the value of used cars has continued to increase since the turn of the year.
However, the BCA added that the rise in values began to slow in March, suggesting the market may have peaked.
