'Transparent' Subaru could attract car loan interest

A creative car dealer has produced a 'see-through' version of a SUBARU to provoke customer interest.

Stan Palmer Sales of Carlisle has used vinyl wraps to show engine detail in an Outback that could grab the attention of potential car loan customers.

The wraps mean the car appears to have a bonnet made of glass, showing off its new Boxer diesel engine.

Dealer principal at Stan Palmer Ian Armstrong said: "We saw a cutaway picture of the engine in the brochure and that got us thinking about taking it one step further."

He added some customers had almost tripping up as they took a glance at the promotional innovation, which has reportedly upped footfall at the dealership.

The company took photographs using a high-resolution camera to develop the detailed wrap of the engine, with images of the vehicle's four-wheel drive system also visible on the side.

Car Finance customers could be interested in the striking new marketing method, aimed at promoting the new Outback engine range.

Subaru also has the Impreza and Tribeca models in its ranks to tempt new Car Loans and recently launched new versions of the former.
