Accolade for Toyota's Avensis Verso

Motorists looking to purchase a used vehicle with their Car Finance may be interested to read that the TOYOTA Avensis Verso has won the title of Used Car of the Year 2008.

Given the accolade by Warranty Direct, the model was chosen from a range of 40 vehicles across eight categories.

Nissan's X-Trail made it into second place, while the HONDA Jazz was third. The title of Family Car of the Year went to the FORD Mondeo.

Warranty Direct managing director Duncan McClure Fisher commented that Japanese vehicles had taken over the top spot where used cars are concerned.

"Not only are they consistently the most reliable cars on the road, but they clearly tick all the right boxes when it comes to appealing to the buying public," he added.

Previously, Parker's has claimed that the model has outstanding reliability and generous levels of equipment.
