Toyota's Aygo model is light, smooth and fairly comfortable, providing good fuel-efficiency, according to one reviewer.
Parker's suggests that the car handles impressively and is not costly to run, fitting into insurance group one.
The 1.0-litre engine runs well and offers decent power despite its low capacity, while the 1.4-litre turbodiesel gives more punch but fails to keep up on the motorway.
A composed ride is among the model's positive features although steering could be more responsive, with TOYOTA adding that the Aygo is both fuel-efficient and aerodynamic.
The model's interior is neatly laid out and the plastics feel high quality, with the model coming fitted with a CD player, folding rear seats, twin airbags and an antilock braking system as standard.
Those planning to take out a higher Car Credit agreement could opt for more features at extra cost with higher spec models, with the base option costing £6,945.
