Toyota Unveils the FT-86

Nov 28 2009 Toyota unveiled its FT-86 at the Tokyo Motor Show held recently. The FT-86 is an exciting looking sports coupe. The FT-86 has been designed by Toyota and Subaru has taken care of the technical aspects. The 200bhp front engine rear wheel driven coupe will be a car that will be welcomed by coupe enthusiasts. How it will perform is yet to be seen. However the body lines and technical data show it will be a sleek and fast car. it will not make it to the tracks as the body is too low slung and we don’t expect to see it in rallies either. Toyota has made some good coupes in the past like the Celica and the FT-86 should be a top car.

The car is expected to cost over twenty five thousand pounds when it lands in the UK showrooms. It´s still too early to go hunting for a car loan for the FT-86. It should deliver the type of fun that the popular Celica delivered. The FT-86 will not compete with the Toyota Supra as they are in different classes. Once Toyota dealers start taking orders and the reviews are in, there will be coupe enthusiasts lining up to order the FT-86. That would be the time to shop around for a suitable car loan.
