Toyota gets into The Hut
Apr 28 2009Online retailer TheHut.com has announced it is making the TOYOTA iQ its company car.
In a move that demonstrates the reliability and confidence in Toyota's products, the company has become the first in the UK to choose the iQ as its company car.
"TheHut.com is a rapidly expanding organisation and is always looking for ways to reward success," commented Dominic Starkey, head of e-commerce at the retailer.
He continued: "The new car is one of the ways in which star performers within the business can benefit from our growth and be repaid for their support and effort."
Mr Starkey also suggested the iQ's environmental performance was an important factor in the choice of vehicle, which demonstrates the continued success of Toyota in delivering vehicles with low emissions.
Toyota has recently revealed plans to significantly cut the cost of its popular Prius hybrid model in a move that is designed to stimulate even more growth in sales of the vehicle.
The Prius has been a huge hit in the US over recent years, as more consumers look to purchase more environmentally-friendly cars.
