The finance you need The car you want

Car News

Feb 12 2008

Car buyers looking for a sporty model that won't break the bank might want to consider the TOYOTA Yaris SR, launched in 2007.

According to Parker's, the car has excellent refinement but is not as speedy as some rivals such as the RENAULT Clio.

Despite this, the performance is swift and the new 1.8-litre engine feels dynamic if a little unconfident.

The grip and suspension have been enhanced and the steering is now quicker but perhaps less responsive than would be ideal, the reviewer suggests.

Among the spec on offer are a CD player, trip computer, electronic climate control, keyless entry and nine airbags.

Space inside the model is described as excellent, while website easier.com claims that the car is a leader for its class in terms of comfort, safety and equipment.

The ride, while firm, is not uncomfortable, although road noise creeps easily into the cabin.

Those planning to take out Car Finance to buy the model would need an agreement for £13,595, while the model fits into car insurance group seven.
