Vauxhall has announced that it is to add a 1.4 litre petrol van to its Combo range following demand from customers.
The firm, which built more than 70,000 vans in the UK last year, said the 94bhp unit will be compliant with Euro V and will be available in the L1H1 and L2H1 styles.
Vauxhall said customers who mainly use their cars for local delivery duties would be able to benefit from the smaller and cheaper petrol Combo.
Steve Bryant, Brand Manager at Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles, said: "The inclusion of new petrol engines to the New Combo and Corsavan ranges is in response to increased customer demand.
"Certain Vauxhall customers want the option of a petrol engine especially with respect to both current fuel prices and the operator's specific working environment."
Vauxhall currently offers customers a four-year car finance deal which includes 0% finance as well as a four-year warranty and four years' breakdown assistance.
