The finance you need The car you want

Motorists looking to take out a car loan for a small car with deceiving dimensions might want to consider the VAUXHALL Agila.

The flexible model comes with a choice of engines, with the 1.2-litre offering being the best choice, according to Parker's.

Suited to town driving, the model delivers in terms of performance and fuel-efficiency, with the larger powertrain being better for high mileage motorists.

Basic equipment levels could benefit from being better, but those drivers who opt for the Club spec will gain electric windows, an mp3-playing stereo and steering wheel mounted controls.

Meanwhile, the lowest level spec model is fitted with a decent amount of safety kit, such as an antilock braking system, four airbags and emergency brake assist.

According to the reviewer, the car's interior is clean and practical, with the fold-flat seats generating as much loaf-carrying space as a small van.

The car is described as being adequately comfortable, but would benefit from reach adjustment.

Drivers looking to invest in the model should expect to pay upwards of £7,595.
