For those keen to drive the new VAUXHALL Astra VXR, it would make sense to wait for the new model about to be launched in 2010 as it is expected to be a much improved version.
The question however is that with the existing model itself being one of the best hatchbacks boasting of a power of 230bhp, a wonderful suspension and a cute body, what improvements can you expect. Yes, it would definitely be more powerful and would have an even better suspension perhaps. It really needs to be top class as expectations are already soaring high and current drivers of the Vauxhall are more than happy with its performance.
This model will also face tough competition and will be pitted against the FORD Focus ST as well as the Golf GTI. That makes the task all the more difficult for Vauxhall – on one hand bettering its own existing model and on the other hand to score over competition. Needless to say, the company will do all it can to push sales aggressively by offering the best of Car Finance schemes.
Initial reports about the new version are very encouraging and that is good news for those willing to wait.
