Designers at Vauxhall have come up with a design for a brand new Vauxhall baby car, to compete with the Mini and similar cars from other manufacturers. Details of the exciting new super-mini are still sketchy, but what is known already will no doubt excite many car loan buyers.
Duncan Aldred, UK Managing Director of Vauxhall, confirmed that the new Vauxhall, which is smaller than the Corsa, will be a "fun and fashion" model that will compete head to head with the Mini, Citroen DS3 and Fiat 500.
The car is known in Vauxhall circles as the Junior. It is based on a Corsa platform that has been shortened significantly. Aldred continued that the car will be "a small runabout which is funky, likeable and has lots of personality."
Vauxhall plans to offer car loan buyers a lot of customisation options for the new car.
The Junior looks quite similar to the striking Astra GTC. In front the LED headlights and the two-bar grille clearly show the car is a Vauxhall. To add even more style, the colour of the roof will be different from that of the rest of the car.
The interior of the Junior will be very stylish, using only the best of materials. This is logical, taking into account its rivals.
Car loan buyers will be able to choose from a range of engines, among them a 1.0 litre petrol engine with CO2 emissions of well below 100g/km and petrol consumption in the region of 80 miles per gallon.
