Vauxhall focuses on its heritage
Apr 16 2009Car manufacturer VAUXHALL is preparing for the annual open day at its Vauxhall Heritage Centre later this month.
The event, to be held on April 26th, will provide the whole family with the opportunity to see some classic cars as well as a variety of other entertainment, including a VXR racing simulator that will give visitors the chance to experience being behind the wheel of a British Touring Car.
It is hoped the day could inspire more people to think about buying new or used cars from Vauxhall, by providing a showcase of what the manufacturer has to offer.
Artist Ian Cook will also be at the event after his most recent work, an image of the Vauxhall Astra 4S, was created at the Race Retro show earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Fylde car company Moorland Motors was recently crowned winner of the Vauxhall 2008 Awards for Excellence for its aftersales service.
The firm beat off competition from over 300 other entries to take the coveted title, which could encourage more people in the area to consider purchasing a new or used car from the company.
