Six-seater Volkswagen Announced

Auto loan buyers have reacted favourable to news that Volkswagen has introduced a new six-seater vehicle to the market.

 

The car is still in concept stage at the moment. It could be seen for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland earlier this month. Plans are afoot to release a production version of the concept car in the foreseeable future.

 

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, a company spokesperson described the new vehicle as a 'goer'. According to him, company management is very positive about the possibility to turn it into a production car. "We've got to have that vehicle on sale" he said.

 

The concept car boasted a range of high-tech features such as i-Pad applications, Bluetooth audio and phone, built-in internet connection, satellite navigation and electronic controls for the air-conditioning.

 

Volkswagen is currently doing very well in the UK. According to recent figures published by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), the company is currently the second most popular car brand among auto loan buyers. The Volkswagen Golf was the best selling individual car model in the UK during January 2011.

 

The company also gained a lot of publicity from the fact that the popular group Westlife is using a Volkswagen Caravelle and a Volkswagen Phaeton luxury saloon as transport during their current UK tour. The Irish super-group started their Gravity Tour with a concert at the Cardiff International arena on the 8th of March. Auto loan buyers will be able to see them (and their cars) at a number of the UK's largest arenas during the 20-day tour.
