Car Finance customers in Britain could be among the first in the world to catch a glimpse of the new VW Golf.
The new car will be making its first public appearance at this year's London Press Club Ball before being launched at the Paris Motor Show in October.
Organisers of the event, being held at the National History Museum on October 15th, are to give away the car as part of a charity auction.
Chairman of the ball, Philippa Kennedy, said being able to give away the latest version of the iconic VW car was a "real coup".
"In the past we have had generous support from Audi, PEUGEOT and HONDA providing cars as auction prizes," Ms Kennedy remarked.
"But this is the first time we will have unveiled a prize car before it has even been officially launched in Britain," she added.
During the first six months of the year, VOLKSWAGEN delivered 3.27 million vehicles worldwide, those with Car Loans may be interested to know.
