VOLVO claims to be bucking the trend when it comes to the sales of new vehicles, unsecured car loan customers may be interested to learn.
According to the manufacturer, its new R-DESIGN versions of the C30, S40 and V50 have been "well received" by car buyers in the UK.
The company's new cars have helped it increase overall sales by 20 per cent for the year so far, brining to the total number sold between January and July this year to 21,155.
Commenting on the figures, Nick Connor, sales director at Volvo Car UK, said there had been a "high level of interest" in the range this year and the company is "confident" this is set to continue throughout 2008.
"The addition of 2.0-litre engine derivatives in the Volvo V70 and S80, the new Powershift gearbox in Volvo C30, C70, S40 and V50 and the new sub 225g/km XC90 D5 Geartronic further widens our offering to both retail and corporate customers," he claimed.
In related Car Finance news, Volvo recently announced its new XC60 crossover will be available from dealers in the UK this autumn.
