Volvo's S80 and XC90 Executive vehicles are both receiving additional features to enhance their appeal to luxury car buyers.
Both models are set to be fitted with massaging, ventilated front seats to soothe their occupants, also benefiting from extra trim and material details to increase the quality of the vehicles.
Upholstery is to be updated and buyers - potentially including those looking to spend a car loan - will be able to select from three trim colours.
"Our surveys show that customers attach particular importance to seating comfort and the quality of the leather. This is the reason why we are now updating the VOLVO S80 and XC90 Executive with a massage function and ventilation in the front seats, along with exceptionally soft hide in all the seats," commented Lennart Stegland, managing director of Volvo Special Vehicles.
Interested parties will soon be able to order the vehicles, with prices set to be outlined ahead of their production in May.
Volvo recently announced that all its new models are 85 per cent recyclable and 95 per cent recoverable.
