Volvo to add CitySafe system to all models
Volvo to add CitySafe system to all models
Mar 13 2008
VOLVO has announced that it will fit its CitySafe system to all new models in the future, which may be of interest to Car Finance customers.
People considering taking out a car loan for a safe vehicle may like to know that the system is billed as helping drivers to avoid collisions at low speeds when driving in heavy traffic and will be fitted as standard to the new Volvo XC60 crossover from the end of this year onwards.
Gerry Keaney, senior vice president at Volvo Car Corporation said: "CitySafe will be incorporated into new Volvo products as they emerge and we will remain very much the centre of excellence within the FORD group in terms of safety systems."
Volvo Construction Equipment has unveiled their new pre-production prototype of its L220F Hybrid wheel loader, seekers of van finance might like to learn.
This new system has lower fuel consumption and higher levels of performance as well as being more powerful.
The environmentally friendly technological developments are currently being showcased at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2008 in Las Vegas this week, according to tradingmarkets.com.
