Overview

"A brilliant drive"

Exterior and Interior

Looks good on the outside, inside is equally as nice. Could have done with cup holders though. Alloy size makes for slightly more bumpy ride than normal but worth it for the look. Silver dash finish looks better than walnut - quite a simple interior. Ensure you get blue tooth and auto lights as not all come with these and they are a must.

Performance and Economy

It offers economical (45/50mpg) performance, I would recommend the 123d (diesel) over the petrol options. the steptronic flappy paddle gear box not all its cracked up to be, but is a quirky feature nonetheless. It Is fast enough to beat most boy racers at traffic lights.

Like to Drive

Calming / relaxing drive, good on long journeys. Mine doesn't have cup holders which is a pain, but the auto works perfectly well and picks up nicely when you put your foot down. The steptronic gearbox can be sometimes over ruled by the car and holds revs higher in sport mode. <

Faults and Repairs

None at the moment but DSC sensors are the usual thing to repair on the 1 series which can set you back £300.

Overview

"Couldn't be happier "

Exterior and Interior

Excellent condition both inside and out. Like brand new, looks prestigious as the brand name indicates. It is spacious round the back seats with lots of room. Nice grey interior and exterior metallic colour coded bumpers. I like the fact the seats easily lay flat if you wish to carry a large item in the boot.

Performance and Economy

Very economical as the car alerts you to when something needs changing, for instance break pads needed changing, so by the time you have the service, there's very little to do! Cost is spread over several years.

Like to Drive

Car gives a smooth drive, powerful too, can move off easily on hill starts for those who dread the hills. You have to drive at least 15 mph going over humps or the car creates a warning signal on the dash board, same for pot holes. Excellent locking system whilst you’re in the car providing extra safety. <

Faults and Repairs

The hydraulics needed changing which was fine as this was completed under warranty by the dealer. Other than that a great car!
