"big beast for the money"

Exterior and Interior

Plenty of kit, well made. Not as good as premium motors but not far off. Comfy seats, plenty of space for passengers and boot space is huge. Interior good, exterior the paint is soft and easily scratches the clear coat.

Performance and Economy

Moves well with the 160bhp engine, wouldn't want any of the smaller engines as it is a heavy ole barge. Average on commute (15mile) which is congested motorway 42mpg. On a good run mid to high 40's.

Like to Drive

Comfy ride, steel springs better than hydraulic setup. It does like to 'boat' though meaning if you go over a dip the car continues to rock up and down after its hit it. Can make me feel sick at times and passengers have felt same. Corners ok, leans but not too bad with good tyres you can throw it about. Steering is vague at times, but you learn the trait of the c5 steering. <

Faults and Repairs

Passenger side window mechanism failure due to ingress of water and rusting metal cable until it snaps. £315 fix. No possible way of stopping it happening again, citreon offer no recall /fix for it. Poor design. Other than that its a solid car
