Overview

"good cheap run about"

Exterior and Interior

The interior is very basic, but good value for money, comes with 6 CD multi-changer, electric windows, air conditioning and CD player. A common interior problem is wear on the seats, I had mine re-fabricated twice in 3 years of ownership. The Exterior is fine, common rust patches crop up on older models around the door seals, and fog lights are temperamental. Boot space is very good for the size of the car, you can fit a pram with shopping in the boot very easy.

Performance and Economy

Very eco friendly car, cheaper on insurance and petrol than most Fords and offers similar economy of the Fiesta, although the car is larger. MPG averaged out around town trips at 43 mpg when driven appropriately.

Like to Drive

The car does not excel in its power, it excels in the value provided for the level of comfort. This is an ideal family car with very cheap running costs and even if repairs are needed, the work tends to be very cost effective. The only thing I would say about this car is the power steering is very light, and takes a little getting used to, but once you do it is a very smooth running car. <

Faults and Repairs

Rust patches crop up from time to time, I owned this car for a year and spent £450 on repairs, £185 of that was for a new clutch to be fitted. No other problems in my experience of ownership of this car.
