"Eats clutches "

Exterior and Interior

Good quality and comfort. Watch out filling the boot. There is a place that nicks your thumb when you get near to the top of the boot. I like the adjustable headlights via a lever for use when traveling abroad.

Performance and Economy

Good balance of performance and economy. Pulls well in top. I am getting 45 mpg out of it. Adding a roof box takes this down to 41 mpg. If you use non Jag garages for servicing, you can save up to 2/3rds the cost of a main dealer service and still maintain the warranty as long as you use genuine Jaguar parts.

Like to Drive

Comfortable, smooth, powerful. I do a lot of motorway cruising and using cruise control can make this easy. Responds well to your demands. I would like the ability to add snow chains, especially in the recent winters we have but unfortunately you can't get them for this model. <

Faults and Repairs

Eats clutches. First I think was gone when I bought it with 2000 miles on the clock. Managed to eak it out to 37,500 miles. now at 65,000 the 2nd is going. I've never had to change a clutch before and I've had cars from new and taken them to 150,000 miles. Good job it is a Ford transit clutch which you can get for £210. Jaguar wanted £1600 to replace.
