Overview

"A David vs Goliaths"

Exterior and Interior

Classic cream colour with black roof and mirrors. Redwood lounge leather interior. I haven’t seen this dark tan interior in any other Mini and it oozes quality and makes me feel special every time I get in the car.

Performance and Economy

Around 55 to the gallon despite being driven hard. Certainly never tried to adjust my driving style to eke out the extra mpg. The engine is full of torque and acceleration is fantastic from a standing start as well as overtaking when already at speed. Cornering is exceptional (second only to a motorsport Lotus I once owned).

Like to Drive

Fun. Fun. Fun. Never ceases to bring a smile to my face. Handling, cornering etc is superb. Turning circle is not great, maybe my expectations are too great because I think it is a small car but none the less it isn’t great. Very stable drive at speed on a motorway even in high winds. Never alarming, even in poor weather conditions such as deep water, snow or ice. I managed to get up a hill that four wheel drives struggled with in recent snowy weather. <

Faults and Repairs

107 thousand miles in 3 years and not a fault or a rattle it stills feels as solid as the day I picked it up from the dealer.
