Nissan is a Japanese car company that is primarily known for its small hatchbacks and family cars, but also produces some very popular sportscars as well. The company was founded in 1933 and is currently the sixth largest producer of cars in the world.
Nissan have increased their sales through the launch of the Qashqai, an immensely popular crossover SUV that has become the number one choice for families across the UK. Its robust build and roomy interior has helped it dominate the family car market, with other companies following the trend and launching their own crossover SUVs. The Juke is a slightly smaller crossover but retains much of the styling and design that makes the Qashqai so popular. Away from the crossovers, the Nissan Micra is a small hatchback that offers good economy. At the other end of the scale, the Nissan GT-R is a fantastic sportscar that appeals to both boy racers and more sophisticated car enthusiasts alike.
