Overview

"1 year old review"

Exterior and Interior

The car I have is dark brown metallic, looks really good in 'real life' as the brochure colours are not a great match. After looking at the blue in the garage I decided the brown made car look really strong and different from the norm black / silver choices. The interior is good quality and my wife ( main driver ) really likes the seat / driving position as it has a great view all round. When I do get the keys it is really easy to drive and I was pleasantly surprised as I normally drive a BMW company car. The bluetooth and MP3 link are great and come with the standard spec. Rear passenger space is ok for most people but will be better for 2 x adults or growing teenagers...The boot is quite small for a soft roader type car but has a stowage under floor area.

Performance and Economy

The car is used mostly by my wife but the 3 x driving modes controlled by driver selector (Sport, normal, economy) help fuel usage during longer journeys as the car is only 5 speed manual. The sport mode is really responsive and speeds up throttle and steering responses.

Like to Drive

The set up of the car offers quite a firm ride overall which I enjoy as I don't like cars that 'roll' around when cornering, really easy to get comfortable driving position and most controls fairly easy to find. <

Faults and Repairs

I have had the car from new and it's now just under 1 year old and the only problem has been covered under warranty by local dealer, (Loose heat shields under engine compartment caused a rattle but fixed within same day.)
