"Megane Tom Tom"

Exterior and Interior

Exterior and Interior The sleek front is more aerodynamic then the older version and the lines are a lot smoother. Great all round view out of the windows. No chance for mistakes with fuel due to the nozzle sized hole and no extra cap. Keyless enter means no more looking for your key! Interior again full of clean lines, digital speedo allows you to get the exact speed. Has a Tom Tom fitted as standard with a good clear view of the route. Upgrading to Tom Tom live will give you up to date traffic news and cut down on delays. Bluetooth is connected with the satnav so you can have hands free phone or play songs from any Bluetooth device. Seats are comfy all controls are within easy reach.

Performance and Economy

Getting about 40mpg out of the car, due to the 1.6 engine it can take a little while to get up to speed and loses power on steep hills. Though it will do 3000 rpm at a steady 70mph. Once at speed has a little kick in power and in cruise control will keep the rpm down with no power loss going up hills. Easy to adjust the speed with up and down buttons on the steering wheel too.

Like to Drive

The Megane is really easy to drive, once you get used to driving the car you can really get good all round performance out of it. You can really throw it around corners with no fear of losing the back end. Instrument are easy to see and operate. The only draining issue is the small back window which can make it hard for a tall person to get a good rear view. <

Faults and Repairs

Not had any problems with the car. Had a Renault before and never had problems with that one. The only little fault is the small back window and remembering that with the keyless key you can't leave anyone in the car as the alarm will go off!
