"My meg"

Exterior and Interior

Exterior is good, nice lines for a small family car. Interior is roomy and quite well put together and it has a good size boot. There are a few electrical faults on these but they are usually just bad connections. If you Google them there is always someone with an answer and 9 times out of 10 they will cost nothing to fix.

Performance and Economy

For a 1.5 litre diesel these are very fast and have loads of power. As for economy I'm returning 54.7 mpg around town and by town I mean no more than 2/3 miles between stops, and I have got 76.4 MPG on a long 70 MPH motorway run. It's only £30 a year to tax and group 4 insurance and these are quite cheap to buy as they seem to have a bad name, but as I say below if you abuse your car it will abuse your pocket.

Like to Drive

They are very comfortable for a small size car, smooth gear changes, good support from seats, good road handling and pretty good over the bumps. It also has good all round visibility and with the power you can easily overtake with out having to drop down a gear, so all in all a very easy car to drive. <

Faults and Repairs

As with ALL cars if you look after them they will look after your pocket. Mine has done 123,000 miles and apart from the usual serviceable parts E.G. brakes tyers, oils filters and a few suspension and steering parts and the like its all going fine.
