Classic car finance information from Creditplus

Approved by the Car Finance Advisory Board

Here at Creditplus we have several lenders who'll look at supplying classic car finance. Because there's an extra risk element when financing a classic car due to the age of the vehicle, our lenders will have stricter guidelines.

To find out more about whether you qualify, and to understand more about the types of cars that are available on finance, please visit our Do I Qualify? car finance section.

Below we have compiled some of the most common questions relating to classic car finance. Should you have any additional questions, please contact one of our Customer Advisors using our LiveChat box located to the right of this web page.

Classic car finance - how does it work?

The application process for applying for classic car finance is the same as our standard process. Visit our How Car Finance Works section for more information.

Am I able to arrange a leasing agreement with a classic car?

Unfortunately we don't offer leasing agreements on classic cars. However we're always happy to consider Hire Purchase.

Can I buy my classic car from a dealership and receive car finance from Creditplus?

Yes. We'll happily consider providing finance for your classic car if it has been purchased from a dealership. Before any funds can be released, the car will have to undergo a few checks to ensure we're happy with its history and to confirm that there's no outstanding finance on the car. Once we're happy with this and are confident that you're purchasing the classic car from a reputable dealer, we'll be in a position to transfer the funds to your account.

How do I insure a classic car?

Help around how to insure a classic car can be found in our Motor Insurance Section.
