After a period of relative inactivity, Jaguar is planning to launch a slew of new models across the F and X type, thanks to the renewed interest in the brand brought around by the acquisition by Tata Motors. The CEO of the company stated the new X type will be a new sedan, with an estate version. The F type will come as coupe and roadster. It is a sure indication that the Tata brand wants to make quick inroads and wants to make up for lost time.
While many other details are still to come, it seems like these vehicles would make use of the new aluminium chassis being readied for the XF model. Plans for the XF Estate and XF LWB were mentioned, specifically alongside the company´s intentions for the Chinese market.
