The European wagon market can be extremely competitive, and brands know that they have to bring something really special to engage the attention of buyers. Volvo is attempting to do just that with its new V60. The company will roll the car out with eight different engine capacities and hopes to garner a minimum of 50,000 buyers every year.
The sportier look has been possible due to a sculpted hood at the front and the typical bulge at the shoulder that Volvo seems to have patented. The roof has been inspired by the design you would find on a coupe and other features include pedestrian detection, 4x4 wheel drive, excellent stability and collision avoidance facilities making it a very complete sporty vehicle. The concept of fold-flat seating has been used both at the back as well as at the front.
The pricing is unconfirmed, but expected to be announced soon.
