When one signs up for a car transaction, your overall experience is to a large extent determined by the quality of service you receive from the car dealership. That is why major car manufacturers regularly have competitions to appoint the best dealership - it is a way of getting all their dealers to try their very best.
In the case of Toyota this year's best dealer is Yeomans Toyota in Eastbourne. The company was appointed as the best dealer in the UK in the very first Retailer Excellence Award programme run by Toyota.
RRG Stockport received no less than two awards: one for the highest retail sales and one as the best in terms of customer satisfaction.
Toyota revealed the awards at its national conference, which took place on the 1st December 2011 at the NEC in Birmingham.
The Centre Principal at Yeomans Toyota in Eastbourne, Martin Mortimer, accepted the award on behalf of his dealership on the south coast.
He said "We are delighted to be the first winners of this award; our success is down to the hard work and commitment of everyone at Yeomans in Eastbourne. We are committed to giving our customers the best possible quality and service."
Managing Director at Toyota (GB), Jon Williams, said at the same function that he believed everyone at Yeomans Eastbourne worked together to make this award possible and that the team deserved it in every possible way.
He added that the new awards were Toyota's way of promoting excellence in everything they do.
