Jon Olsson and his 2011 Lamborghini ski Transporter

While us ordinary souls often lie awake worrying about how to pay the next instalment on our car , the rich and the famous seem to have problems of a different nature.

Take professional ski champion Jon Olsson, for example: this self-acknowledged super-car addict had the major problem of finding it difficult to choose the right car to use for next season's winter travels.

Eventually he chose a Lamborghini Aventador, but then another problem hit the poor man: there seems to have been a supply problem and the car has not yet been delivered to his door.

Fortunately, he is a man of genius and he immediately knew how to solve this problem: he simply went out and bought himself a temporary substitute - a brand new Lamborghini Gallardo LP54O.  The car came complete with a ski box on top and a rather distasteful camouflage finish.

The fact that he already had a Lamborghini Murcielago SV standing idle in the garage did not deter him in any way.  The Nissan R35 GT-R standing next to it did not even enter the man's mind when he was foraging in his wallet for small change to buy the Lamborghini Gallardo.

Olsson and German tuner DMC worked together to create the perfect substitute Lamborghini.  They took a standard Lamborghini and added an extra GT3 lip, new LED lights, a new rear-deck lid, a new rear diffuser and a new bumper.

The 5-litre V10 machine underneath the bonnet, which produces 560 bhp, was apparently acceptable to Olsson - for now.
