If you are a full-blooded member of the male species, you would no doubt love to sign up for a deal on a vehicle that used to belong to Kylie Minogue. This is probably why the beautiful star's personal hybrid car, a Lexus CT 200h, recently raised an impressive £29,000 at a charity auction for the NSPCC.
Kylie is of course one of the kingpins in the Lexus Quiet Revolution advertising campaign for the compact luxury hybrid car. She used the Lexus as her day-to-day runabout.
The lucky buyer will have no trouble convincing his friends that the car actually belonged to Kylie Minogue - her signature has been picked out in the stitching on the upholstery of the personalised headrests.
The Lexus went on auction at the City of London Christmas Dinner, which took place at the grand old Savoy Hotel last week. The NSPCC has good reason to smile: in total the auction raised £177,000 for the charity.
Kylie is, of course, also an ambassador for the NSPCC. She said "I would just like to say a huge thank you to the generous bidder who bought my personalised Lexus CT 200h, which I have been driving around for the past year."
A director at Lexus, Richard Balshaw, said that the company was delighted to team up with Kylie, since she is "the face of the Lexus CT 200h." He expressed his satisfaction that such a large amount of money could be raised for the NSPCC.
