Bentley's GT Speed gets Russian unveiling

The Bentley Continental GT Speed, the new performance flagship of the company, has made its global debut in Russia.

Unveiled at the Moscow International Auto Salon, the new model is part of a trio of headline displays, the other two of which are cars new to the Russian market.

The GT Speed is ideal for buyers with car finance available who hold performance potential high on their list of priorities, as a top speed of 205mph can be attained with 62mph in four seconds achievable. The new model is also powered by a twin-turbo 616bhp W12 engine, which was adapted from the standard Continental GT, but the GT places a comparable emphasis on luxury and exquisite detailing.

The hand-crafted cabin of the GT Speed is equipped with Bentley's Mulliner Driving Specification as standard, and the Speed design cues give it the character typical of the Crewe-based firms fastest cars, with a distinctive and roguishly lavish sporting feel.

More emphasis has been placed on offering a sporting driving feel by providing closer gear ratios in the eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox, and the chassis setup is also unique.
