Fiat have announced pricing for its stunning new 500L, a spacious family vehicle which they claim is big on looks, style and attitude.
The starting price models are the Pop Star and Easy, which aim to put the fun into functionality. These start at £14,990 OTR for the 1.4-litre 500L models, with car finance and car credit available. This price includes a long list of standard features; a 5-inch touchscreen radio, Bluetooth, six airbags, ESP stability programme, body-coloured electric door mirrors, cruise control, leather gearknob and steering wheel.
Each of the Pop Star and Easy models are aimed at specific customers, although they cost the same despite having different additional features. The Pop Star is aimed at a young, cool market, and in addition to the standard list features a body-coloured dashboard, alloy wheels and side-door mouldings.
The Easy is trying to appeal to drivers seeking extra comfort, and sports rear parking sensors, a soft-touch dashboard and electric windows.
The Lounge model is the top-of-the-range, and accordingly is loaded with an array of additional features, such as climate control air conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels, side mouldings, rear parking sensors, electric rear windows, a largest-in-class fixed glass roof, light sensor, rain sensor, front fog lamps and a rear armrest.
With the L standing for 'Large', the Fiat 500L will come with a choice of four low emissions engines initially, (Euro 6 petrol and Euro 5+ diesel), with Start&Stop as standard on TwinAir and MultiJet engines. Making up the full range of engines available are the award-winning TwinAir 0.9-litre petrol (105hp), the 1.4-litre 16-valve petrol (95hp), followed by the 1.3-litre 16-valve MultiJet diesel (85hp) with manual or MTA transmission, and finally the 1.6-litre 16-valve MultiJet diesel (105hp).
Options for customisation are huge, as all versions come with a choice of body colour, white or black roof, and the alloy wheel colour option of silver, white or black. Although standard on the Lounge model, a 1.5 square metre glass roof is also available on all models for enhanced cabin ambience, and a panoramic passenger visibility.
