Kia announces new top range Sportage

Kia has announced a new luxury-spec Sportage with a high-powered diesel engine. And the new KX-4 is unique in the range, coming with 'Intelligent All-Wheel Drive' that sends all the power to the front wheels during normal driving but up to 40% to the rear ones if the conditions and traction need it. Other features include a seven-inch touchscreen sat-nav system, privacy glass, cruise control, 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic windscreen wipers, a seven-speaker stereo and stylish stainless steel scuff plates in the door apertures. The range-topping model also includes full leather upholstery, keyless entry, parking sensors at the front and back of the car, iPod connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, automatic xenon headlights, an engine stop/start button and a colour reversing camera. Kia says it has developed the KX-4 in response to demands for a specification level to match Sportage's desirable shell from customers who may now be queuing up to buy one.
