New F-TYPE marks return to Jaguar's roots

Jaguar has launched its brand new F-Type two-seater in the plush surroundings of a Paris museum garden.

Following in the footsteps of some of the most beautiful, thrilling and desirable cars ever built, the new model, Jaguar's long-awaited successor to the iconic E-Type represents a return to the company's heartland. It was officially unveiled at the Musée Rodin Museum in Paris.

The convertible sports car focusses on performance, agility and driver involvement - reigniting the flame of the British manufacturer's rich sporting bloodline and building on 75 years of sports car heritage..

Thanks to Jaguar's acclaimed lightweight aluminium engineering expertise, the F-Type boasts perfectly balanced weight distribution..

"The F-Type isn't designed to be like anyone else's sports car," said Adrian Hallmark, global brand director at Jaguar. "It's a Jaguar sports car - ultra-precise, powerful, sensual and, most of all, it feels alive."
