New X-Trail tweaks a winning formula

Nissan has unveiled a new addition to the X-Trail range that provides a sporty twist on the popular 4x4 vehicle.

The X-Trail n-tec+ comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, sidebars with steps and fog lamps with a chrome finish. The new trim level will slot in between the existing Acenta and flagship Tekna grades.

Further additions to the n-tec+ model include an Intelligent key for keyless entry and ignition as well as a tilt and slide electric panoramic sunroof. An already admired four-wheel drive machine just went up a gear.

Perhaps the most eye-catching improvement is the Nissan Connect, complete with a 5-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system that enables Bluetooth connection to music streaming and mobile phones.

Standard features on the X-Trail range include cruise control, automatic headlights, climate control, rear privacy glass and rain-sensing wipers.
