Nissan has slashed the price of its popular Micra models as part of a new bid to tempt more buyers.
The supermini is now available from £7,995 for the Micra Visia.
Prices have also been cut across the rest of the Micra range, with the Acenta available for £9,995.
While both cars come with Bluetooth and an auxiliary MP3 input socket, additional features of the Acenta include alloy wheels, air conditioning and a leather steering wheel.
The Acenta Connect, which features a touch-screen sat-nav, is available for an extra £1,755 while the Nissan Micra Elle special edition has been reduced to £11,195 on the road.
The Visia is available for £99 per month with dealer-supplied car finance, while the Acenta costs an extra £20. The Acenta Connect is available for a further £10, and the Elle edition is available for £139 per month.
Nissan's Micra Tekna comes with a glass roof and equipment including parking space measurement, rear parking sensors and climate control. The range-topping model now costs £149 per month with dealer-supplied finance, or £11,545 on the road.
The carmaker is also offering buyers a three-year servicing plan, plus three years' roadside assistance for £199.
Despite the lower prices, Nissan has made no changes to its engine choices. Its two three-cylinder petrol engines are still available - the cheaper 79bhp 1.2-litre version, and the supercharged 97bhp. Buyers can also choose between manual and automatic gearboxes.
