Peugeot announces big plans for Paris show

A clutch of innovative concept cars are to be showcased by Peugeot at this year's Paris Motor Show.

The car-maker has announced plans to show 40 concept cars and production vehicles from a huge stand, to be staged at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles between September 29 and October 14.

Featuring a 1.6-litre THP 260bhp engine and sporty curves, the RCZ R Concept will be Peugeot's most powerful production car ever.

Other models on show include the 208 Type R5, a version of the new model featuring racing specifications, the 208 Intuitive, tailor-made for city driving, and the 208 XY luxury model in a choice of six colours including purple which will be a Peugeot first.
