PDI Centre Manager

About the role

We are looking to take on a PDI Centre Manager to join our expanding PDI Operations team based in Poole. This will involve purchases vehicles, carries out a range of remedial works from smart repairs, light mechanical works, servicing, M.O.T and tyre replacements.

Duties & Tasks 

We are looking to recruit a PDI Centre Manager to undertake the following tasks

  • Manage a team of mechanics, repairers and valeters
  • Mange 3rd party suppliers and smart repairers
  • Liaise with our buying department
  • Mange the workflow of cars ready for delivery to customers
  • Be able to help with mechanical and diagnostic issues
  • Teach staff how to asses any vehicle refurbishments
  • Be an effective communicator across several departments in the business
  • Manage problematic vehicles
  • As our PDI centre is RAC approved run the branch to the RAC standards set
  • Reports into the Head of Logistics

Skills Required

  • Attitude: Good communicator, strong manager, positive and calm, able to think on your feet, can do attitude, resilient
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of a variety of manufacturer vehicles, mechanical, diagnostic and smart repair knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge: A broad understanding of all the disciplines in taking trade vehicles to retail ready vehicles


Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5:30pm and occasional Saturdays.
