It’s that time of the week again, which means it’s time for a round up of some of our favourite car videos.

Taking editing to a new level

Our first video is a lesson in video editing. Such an excellent concept, you could easily be forgiven for thinking this is a perfectly choreographed ballet of people and vehicles but in reality it is just very cleverly edited. We found ourselves flinching every time a pedestrian walked across the road! It reminded us of the kind of junctions and crossings you find in India, only highly organised with no risk of death.

Watching 12 drift cars in perfect unison is oddly satisfying

This next video comes from GoPro and shows Ryan Tuerk with his 11 companions effortlessly drifting in perfect order with each other. This is one of those situations where the video makes it look easy but you can guarantee that achieving that level of precision between 12 sliding vehicles would be no mean feat. Very impressive!

The best hot wheels track you have ever seen

In reality this is not a hot wheels track at all, it is a painstakingly built sculpture by Chris Burden that required some serious commitment to achieve.  The sculpture is called Metroplis II and it isn’t hard to see where the name comes from, it has an uncanny resemblance to the the Utopian city depicted in Fritz Lang’s film ‘Metropolis’. That being said we find it hard to believe that Mr Burden doesn’t in some way feel like a big kid with the best hot wheels track around! The final shot in this short film of the entire track running totally autonomously is excellent.

Don’t you wish you had a truck like this?

After three very pretty and highly worked videos this one is a little less refined, okay maybe a lot less refined. This particular video features an 800BHP trophy truck used in the Baja Rally, a helicopter full of scantily clad women and international playboy Dan Blizerian and some awesome shots, what more do you want? Just watch it already.

And finally…. the most ridiculous video you will watch today.

This is by no means a new video, you may even have already seen it but that does not stop it being hilarious. I have seen cars with hydraulics before but this really takes it to a whole new level.  If you have any desire to see a car take off vertically then this is a must see for you.

Well there we have it, that’s all for now folks come back the same time next week for more awesome car videos. If you really cant wait for more videos then check out last weeks here. Or take a look at this very secretive Lamborghini teaser from James
