About You

What does it take to be an Accounts Assistant at Creditplus?

You’ll consider yourself to be an enthusiastic and hard-working individual, with the ability to work as part of a fast-paced, productive team. Excellent attention to detail is expected as well as a high level of numeracy competence. You will need to be working towards you full AAT certification with the ambition to further your qualifications. Previous experience of accounts preparation, reconciliations together with excellent computer literacy. 

The ideal candidate must have;

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
  • Good communication skills and ability to work under own initiative
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office and
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50
  • Ability to achieve the required SLA’s
What Will You Do?

As an Accounts Assistant you will be tasked with;

  • Processing of bank transactions and reconciliations
  • Assisting with the processing of Supplier / Purchase Ledger Invoices
  • Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Dealing with Aged Debtor Reports and Debtor statements
  • Managing Credit Control and chasing any outstanding monies owed to the Business
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Monitoring of business overheads and departmental cost analysis

This is not an exhaustive list and other duties will be asked of you on an ad-hoc basis.

This opportunity is available on a full-time (37.5 hours per week). Flexible patterns will be considered for the right candidate.
